Goodbye Highschool

All the early mornings,
and sleepless nights.
With midnight phone calls
and friendship fights.

Success was my goal,
all throughout school.
Always played by the book,
and never broke any rules.

Opinions can drive you crazy,
judgments can make mad.
Learning to keep my cool,
The credit goes to mom and dad.

Learning how to drive,
also discovering love,
gave me the influence
to always live above.

I've tried new things,
and changed as you see.
I became the woman
he said i couldn't be.

The great teachers and lessons
that got me through the day.
Taught m about the life and future
that I've come to live today.
